Standard group courses
Course cycles restart on a monthly basis, 12 months a year.
Our morning courses (GM24, GM40, GM80) take place Monday through Friday (3 days a week in the case of GM 24), for 2 hours or 4 hours a day (each lesson lasts 120 minutes).
Afternoon courses (GP30, GP60) are held Monday through Friday for either 1.5 or 3 hours a day (each lesson lasts 90 minutes).
The presence of students from different nationalities within each class helps creating a stimulating and creative atmosphere, Classes are usually made of 6/7 students (max. 10). After a student has completed two 40 hour courses they may proceed to the next level.
Our 4 hour/day courses are for people who have only a short period of time to dedicate to learning the language or who rarely have the opportunity to talk in Italian, but nonetheless need to learn it as quickly as possible.
Students who require a student visa, need to enrol for 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. We have special discounts on such long-term courses (see below).

Evening courses
SEPTEMBER TO JUNE
2, 3 times a week
These courses run through-out year, except for July and August. Classes are usually made of an average of 6-7 students (max 10).
Evening courses are less intensive (2-hour lessons twice a week) than standard courses, but run for a longer period (10 weeks). This makes it a good choice for students who are busy during the day.
The evening programs answer the needs common to working foreigners, such as improvement in written expression and formal spoken Italian. Self-taught students have a chance to lose habitual mistakes by analyzing and mastering grammatical structures.
The more advanced levels are ideal for those who already know Italian well and wish to broaden their vocabulary and command of idiomatic expressions and cultural references.

Individual courses
Held at Il Centro or at the student's home.
Individual courses are recommended for students with very specific linguistic needs and/or scheduling difficulties that prevent them from attending a group course. They can choose the schedule that suits them best and arrange a personalized program with the teacher.

Language + Culture
RUN ALL YEAR ROUND Minimum 4 Students
We believe that Italian culture and language are inextricably intertwined and that it is impossible to learn one without the other. For this reason we arrange in-depth courses that look at aspects of Italian language and culture that are normally not dealt with in standard classes.
The cultural courses provide a chance to take an in-depth look at particular aspects of Italian language and culture.
For those who have a good knowledge of Italian but rarely have the opportunity to talk, these courses offer a chance to experience an Italian-language atmosphere on a weekly basis.
The most accomplished students can tackle the subtleties of writing, business communication or literature in our highly-advanced courses.

Courses via SKYPE
LEARN ITALIAN VIA SKYPE
We have created online courses in the Italian language for those students who are unable to come to Italy as well as those who prefer to study at home/the office.
Try one hour or choose a package of lessons and begin to talk to your teacher through Skype.
Il Centro has developed specific material for online courses. Skype courses will be one-on-one, with the lesson plans being centered around the needs of the student - be it pronounciation, reading/listening comprehensions, vocabulary for a specific purpose/sector, audiovisual activites etc.
Each lesson lasts 60 minutes.
1 lesson - 32 euro
6 lessons - 180 euro
9 lessons - 270 euro
12 lessons - 350 euro

Intensive Weekend
Intensive Italian courses run during the weekend!
These courses are organized for those who cannot attend an language course during the week due to work commitments. Here are some examples of the weekend courses that we can organise:
Option 1
Friday: Lessons from 4pm until 8pm
Saturday: Lessons from 9am to 1pm
Break for conversation over lunch from 1pm-3pm Lessons from 3pm to 6pm.
Sunday: Lessons from 9am to 1pm
Total price: 840 euros (package of 17 hours tuition + lunch)
Option 2
Saturday: Lessons from 9am until 1 pm Break for conversation over lunch from 1pm-3pm Lessons from 3pm till 6 pm
Sunday: Lessons from 9 am till 1 pm Break for conversation over lunch from 1pm-3pm Lessons from 3pm till 6pm.
Total price: 970 euros (package of 18 hours tuition + lunch)
Option 3
Friday: Lessons from 4pm until 8pm
Saturday: Lessons from 9am until 1pm
Lunchbreak 1pm to 2pm
Lessons from 2pm until 6pm

Italian for EC residence permit
COURSE RUN ALL YEAR ROUND Minimum 6 students
This course is designed for foreigners living in Italy who intend to sit the Italian exam to obtain citizenship or permanent residency here in Italy. It aims to improve and perfect the student's command of the Italian language, as well as informing them about their rights and responsibilities (regarding work, healthcare, education, banking, post offices etc.).
The course lasts 10 weeks, with 3 hours of lessons each Saturday morning.

Combined courses
Throughout the year
The combined courses offer a combination of group courses and individual lessons: they include 4 hours in class in the morning and 1 individual lesson in the afternoon each day. The additional individual lessons allow the student to focus on specific needs, review and practice what has been learned in class or study a particular specialistic language (legal, business, financial, artistic etc.)
